The Waterfall House
Perched on the legendary Niobe Falls, The Waterfall House combines spectacular Catskill Mountain views with private steps leading to pristine swimming holes and waterfalls. With its proximity to Woodstock, the village of Saugerties (..."one of the coolest small towns in America..." Budget Traveler Magazine), Hunter Mountain for skiing, Hudson with its sophisticated restaurants, galleries and antique stores, and the up-and-coming arts community of Catskill, our waterfront homes are ideally located for exploring the Catskill and Hudson Valley region. Easy access to H.I.T.S. makes The Waterfall House a "hit" with equestrians.
With free WiFi throughout, a 42" HDTV, an extensive library of books and DVD's, and a cozy gas fireplace for cuddling after hiking one of the nearby trails, you may not want to leave the comfort of The Waterfall House. Have your morning coffee on our covered porch overlooking the waterfalls while reconnecting with the world if you must..
Furnished with country antiques and delightful, hard to find items from the collection of "ThinkBig!" creator Bob Malkin, The Waterfall House has two spacious bedrooms, each with its own full bath, plus a den complete with a Yamaha electric keyboard. The den is perfect as a third bedroom with its two convertible twin beds. Extra quests sleep comfortably in the living room, with straight-on waterfall view, on a queen size sofa bed fitted with a specially designed mattress pad.
Enjoy creating memorable meals in our fully equipped kitchen. Our country farm table seats six.
