Shindig - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner - Wine & Beer. Let's just say this is no ordinary comfort food. The coolest address in town, " 1 Tinker Street," is tiny and chic, cozy and intimate, the food is reasonable priced.
Sunfrost Farms - In addition to being a great place to shop for food, Sunfrost has a little cafe for breakfast and lunch. Terrific juice bar, too. Dog-friendly outdoor breakfast and lunch. First rate soup, salads and sandwich's. Excellent! Bearsville.

Culinary Institute of America - All the award-winning restaurants at the CIA in Hyde Park are part of students’ educational experience. Under the guidance of expert chef-instructors and maîtres d’hôtel, students execute the meal and service. Full table service dining, to amazing baked goods!

Boitson’s - Kingston’s classic high-end Southern inspired restaurant. Try the fried oysters or the country-friend chicken. Vegan options and a full bar. We love the chili-salted Mid-Town Margarita! The garden is heavenly - and very popular - in season.
Duo Bistro - Known for their brunch, especially on Saturdays after strolling the nearby Farmer’s Market (in season), Duo has a varied menu, moderate prices and customer raves to recommend it. Breakfast served all day. Check out their new market, offering a full line of fresh breads, local eggs, meat and cheese, coffee, chocolate, produce, dairy and much more. They even make their own butter!
Diego’s Tacos - Authentic and inventive tacos and Mexican street food. My favorite lunch spot in Uptown Kingston.

Lunch Box - Need a quick soup-fix? One of the easiest and best places to grab a sandwich or soup. Just walk up to the window and order! $4 small soup, $6 large soup. They have a variety of soups every day including vegetarian, meat, and gluten free soups. A friendly all volunteer staff.
Sissy's Cafe - A sweet little breakfast and lunch cafe offering raw juices, smoothies, gigantic salads, sandwiches, and soups. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Opa! Gyros - A tiny Greek outpost for a casual, delicious lunch or dinner. The menu is enormous, and the falafel, unbeatable.
Yum Yum Noodle Bar - The Kingston branch of this popular Woodstock restaurant. Nothing beats their soups in winter! Wine, beer and sake, along with a long list of Asian-fusion dishes. Lunch and dinner.
STOCKADE TAVERN - Kingston’s enormously popular watering hole features esoteric and ordinary cocktails in the historic, renovated Singer sewing machine building. These are no ordinary cocktails. With a nod to the past and a penchant for creating wildly original concoctions, owners Giovanna Vis and her husband, Paul Maloney take pride in their traditional, well crafted cocktails.
